Despite some brilliant signings, Manchester United is still not finding its way and one of its main stars, Cristiano Ronaldo, is pushing for a move to a team that competes in the Champions League this season. The Portuguese striker, who still has one more year of contract with the English club, considered that he had a pact that the directors would facilitate his departure if he did not play in the highest continental competition.
However, this did not happen and Ronaldo's agent is working against the clock to find a proposal that satisfies all parties. One of the clubs to which he was linked in the last hours was Olympique Marseille, the top winner of Ligue 1 together with Paris Saint Germain and the only French club to have won the Champions League.

Claims from Brazil accuse Mbappé of going after PSG players including Neymar
According to RMC Sports, "things are very clear in the eyes of Olympique's management: OM has no intention of signing Cristiano Ronaldo". Thus, the former Real Madrid and Sporting Lisbon player received a new blow to his aspirations.
This news came shortly after Borussia Dortmund also publicly ruled out his signing. Despite the departure of Erling Haaland to Manchester City, Dortmund's manager expressed that the club's idea is to bet on young players and not on the experience of the Portuguese superstar (37 years old).
Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the few high points for Manchester United last season, in which he scored 24 goals (18 in the Premier League and 6 in the Champions League) and provided three assists in 38 games.
