Inter Miami had a great day this Sunday when they officially presented Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets at the DRV PNK Stadium before a crowd. The Catalan midfielder, who has just been released in Barcelona, signed his contract that same day and was the first to appear on the scene at the event organized by the Florida franchise, to later give way to the stellar appearance of the best player in the world.
Now, in the preview of the event, the MLS welcomed Busquets on social networks, but they made a blunder: they announced it using a photo of Álvaro Arbeloa. Users quickly pointed out the mistake made and, after deleting the post, the account joked about the resemblance between the two Spanish footballers in the image used.
“Why do Arbeloa and Busquets look so similar in these (photos)? The administrator needs new glasses… ”, wrote the CM of the MLS accepting his mistake. Be that as it may, the truth is that both Busi and Leo want to mark an era in soccer in the United States and are waiting with open arms for Jordi Alba, a winger who also shone in Barcelona and who is working out the last details of his contract.
This defender, who was a world champion with Spain in South Africa in 2010 and an important part of Real Madrid, announced his retirement from professional football in 2017 after his time at West Ham. He is currently 40 years old and holds the position of first coach in Juvenil A at the White House.
