Diego Armando Maradona was a complete legend at Argentina. The idol died at the age of 60 on November 25, a date that will be remembered forever in his country. The ex-soccer player was facing some of several health issues and, after being hospitalized a couple of weeks before, he died in a house in Tigre, Buenos Aires.
Since then, at Argentina there has been all types of tributes made for Maradona. Thousands of people went out to the streets to say goodbye to him, even in the COVID-19 pandemic, and the homage had been made every time since his death.
One of the latest and crazy ideas related to Maradona’s death is now near to be executed. In Argentina there is a plan to include the face of the legend on the paper money. The idea was presented by senator Norma Durango, from the Frente Para Todos, who wants that 50% of the paper money printed next year has his image.
Maradona has also received tributes all along the country every time a soccer match was played. As a player, he did an incredible professional career, that started at Argentinos Juniors and continued at Boca Juniors, FC Barcelona, Napoli, Sevilla FC and Newell’s, even though his greatest achievements occurred at the national team.
