With his contract at Juventus set to be terminated, the French midfielder is reportedly attracting interest from Los Angeles FC, a club already boasting a French contingent including goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and striker Olivier Giroud.

Pogba was initially handed a four-year ban from all football activities after testing positive for synthetic testosterone following a match against Udinese in August 2023. The suspension dealt a significant blow to the former Manchester United star's career.

However, the ban has been reduced to 18 months, meaning Pogba could return to competitive football in March 2025. While he can resume training as early as January, it's highly unlikely that he'll remain at Juventus. Juventus manager Thiago Motta has made it clear that the French midfielder is not part of his plans.

Key points covered:

  • Pogba's doping ban has been reduced.
  • Juventus is likely to terminate his contract.
  • LAFC, with its French connection, is interested in signing Pogba.
  • Pogba's potential return to football is set for March 2025.
