The Columbus Crew delivered a dominant performance, securing a resounding 4-0 victory over the New England Revolution in Week 15 of the MLS. The match, played at Lower.com Field, saw Alexandru Matan claim the spotlight with a hat trick.

Matan opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a powerful strike from the edge of the box. The Romanian midfielder added to his tally in the 18th minute and completed his hat trick just before the hour mark, securing a memorable performance. Dejuan Jones had earlier given Columbus the lead in the fourth minute.

Columbus dominated possession and created numerous scoring opportunities throughout the match. Jacen Russell-Rowe hit the woodwork in the second half, further emphasizing the Crew's dominance.

Diego Rossi also put on a show, humiliating New England defender Dave Romney with a skillful nutmeg in the first half.
