This summer Héctor Herrera made one of the most important decisions in his career, the player of the Mexican National Team left Atlético de Madrid when he was playing at a high level to go to the MLS with the Houston Dynamo.
And it is that for all the Mexican fans and the press this decision took them by surprise. Since many criticized Héctor Herrera for wanting to play in the MLS with the Houston Dynamo when he had been in Europe for several years.

Héctor Herrera mentioned that despite being the captain of the Mexican National Team and having a great career in Europe, Liga MX was not interested in him at all.
"In Mexico nobody talked to me and they didn't offer me anything and I said it when I got here that the only interesting offer and the one that really interested me for the sports project was the one from the Houston Dynamo”. Herrera said in an interview for Mediotiempo.
Héctor Herrera is 32 years old and signed a contract with the Houston Dynamo for three and a half years, so his withdrawal from MLS may be an option and returning to Liga MX looks quite complicated.
