Carlos Vela has been wanted by several clubs in the MX League. The striker is loved by fans because of his great quality, skills with the ball and his experience in Europe playing in clubs  such as Arsenal, Real Sociedad, Celta de Vigo among others.

Chivas and America have been the clubs that have most interested to hire the Mexican. Guadalajara was the club that trained him as a professional player but he was never able to debut in the MX League.

Carlos Vela cleared up the rumors of a possible return to the MX League by renewing for one season with LAFC from the MLS.

"I talked with clubs from Mexico but I always told them that my priority was to stay in Los Angeles and if that didn't happen I had the option of going back to Europe”.  Carlos Vela said.

Javier Hernández told him not to return to Mexico

According information from the newspaper El Diez, Javier Hernández was a key piece so Carlos Vela didn´t go to play in the Mx League.

Javier Hernández and Carlos Vela have played together for the Mexican National Team in the 2010 South Africa and 2018 Russia World Cup.
