With Javier "Chicharito" Hernández and Douglas Costa on the field, the Galaxians were unable to defeat Óscar Pareja's team, and fell in week 4 of the MLS. 

The duel was hard fought but it is very peculiar to see how one of the most powerful clubs in the league, which was very well reinforced in the preseason, could not beat a club that today, is giving the surprise in MLS.

It was the 9th minute of the match when a counterattack by Orlando caught the Galaxians off-guard, who were unable to get back into their area in time to stop Ercan Kara and Facundo Torres. 

The former ran with the ball down the right flank without anyone being able to stop him and from a distance saw Torres enter the area, and without thinking, he sent across, which Facundo headed into the back of the net. 

LA Galaxy living up to expectations?

While the match was tight and Orlando offered stiff resistance to the Galaxians' onslaught, the club has yet to deliver the punch of authority that was expected of them. 

In fact, a review of the match shows the brutal difference in shots on goal between the two clubs, and that's where the Galaxy are falling short. 

While the Lions had 6 shots on Jonathan Bond's goal and scored once, the Galaxians had 20 shots on Pedro Gallese's goal.
