Charlotte FC keeps preparing for their first season in MLS, especially after selling Australian midfielder Riley McGree, who was one of their most interesting players, to Scottish side Celtic FC. But this time, they’ve agreed on terms to buy Karol Świderski out of Greek side PAOK FC.

The 24-year-old forward will join the newest MLS Franchise after PAOK agreed to a $5.7 million transfer for his economic rights. The Polish international has also agreed personal terms, which means it’s a matter of time until the team makes his signing official.
The Polish international will join fellow Polish Jan Sobociński, who joined the team out of Polish ŁKS Łódź, in South Carolina. His addition was a much needed one, as they currently only have one experienced striker in the team.

Świderski joined PAOK FC out of Jagiellonia Białystok back in 2019 on a permanent move worth $2.3 million. So far, he’s played a total of 134 games in the Greek league, where he’s score 35 goals and assisted on 14 times in the four seasons he’s played for the black and white.
