The winter transfer window ends today, and a lot of teams are still on the market trying to shop for last-minute additions in order to face the second leg of the 2021-22 season the best as they can, including FC Barcelona, who on past days made official the arrival of Adama Traoré on a loan from Wolves.
Arsenal agreed to send Aubameyang on a loan to a La Liga team
Adama returned to the team in which he grew up, but that leaves Raúl Jiménez as the lone attacker that led Wolverhampton Wanderers to the first spots of Premier League in 2018-19 season and into Europa League for the 2019-20 season, as Diogo Jota left in 2020 to join Liverpool.
Although Raúl Jiménez is comfortable in Wolves and has become a fan favorite, he still needs to take that last step to arrive in one of the biggest teams in Europe to reaffirm his position as one of the best strikers in today’s soccer.
The financial situation in Barcelona is complicated, to say the least, which is why Traoré only arrived on a loan. Unfortunately, Wolves won’t let Jiménez walk out of Molineux Stadium unless a team pays $25 million, which is his current market value.
