Nicolás Larcamón keeps impressing everyone by the way he makes Club Puebla play. Since his arrival in Liga MX a year ago, he has proved wrong everyone that thought teams without much economical support have little to no chances of transcending in today’s soccer.
Club Puebla remains as Liga MX leader after beating Monterrey
Club Puebla, Liga MX team with the lowest market value, is leader of Clausura 2022 after six rounds and doesn’t show signs of slowing down anytime soon, thanks to Larcamón and his coaching staff, who have demonstrated what Liga MX teams have lacked for a while: becoming a family.
That’s why people are asking for his arrival in Mexico National Team, given that El Tri usually relies on individualities rather than playing associative soccer, something that Larcamón has mastered in Club Puebla, where players can move positions and the team keeps working.
Although Larcamón has said that El Tri is in good hands with Gerardo “Tata” Martino as their coach, if he was to replace him, he would stand by Martino’s decision of not calling Carlos Vela, as Larcamón has showed that he prefers players that are willing to sacrifice for the team, in a mix of youngster and experienced players, instead of dealing with the egos of players that are superstars.
