Mexico National Team was able to beat Panama last night with a goal scored by Raúl Jiménez from the penalty mark when the game was coming to an end. But although El Tri was able to earn the three points, they also lost Hirving “Chucky” Lozano in the process.
What we know about Chucky Lozano’s injury
It’s unknown how much time Lozano will miss, but according to the first reports, he’ll likely be out from 8 to 12 weeks, which will prevent him from playing with the Azzurri against FC Barcelona on the round of 32 matches from Europa League. He’ll also miss the next FIFA match window to be played in March.
USMNT will be the first rival of El Tri in March, in a game that will most likely define who is going to be the second CONCACAF qualified team, and the Bars and Stripes are already one step ahead of El Tri, as the Aztecs won’t have one of their best players available for the match.
Lozano suffered a dislocated right shoulder after being pushed to the ground on a play that wasn’t even called as a foul, but the Napoli player had to leave the pitch on a stretcher and minutes later he left Estadio Azteca on an ambulance.
Does El Tri have possibilities of defeating USMNT without Lozano?
