But the former coach of Pumas and Mexico National Team has started to be linked with La Máquina, who already are looking for a new coach if it’s true that Juan Reynoso ends up leaving. Reports suggest that he’s the favorite to arrive in Cruz Azul bench.
It’s widely known that Jaime Ordiales was against the signing of Juan Reynoso prior Clausura 2021, as he considered there were other coaches more capable than the Peruvian to assume the position, something that Reynoso proved wrong after winning Liga MX on his first season with La Máquina.
If Hugo Sánchez accepts the challenge and becomes Cruz Azul’s next coach, it will be the own Juan Reynoso who replaces Gerardo Martino in Mexico National Team, as he already was spotted in Estadio Azteca for the last fixtures El Tri had there.
