It’s clear that Mexico National Team’s performances with Gerardo Martino as their coach hasn’t convinced, especially in the last year, as they have shown a lack of aim that already is worrisome, as they don’t have shown any signs of improving it, even against the weaker opponents of CONCACAF.

Héctor Herrera was a starter with Atlético Madrid after more than 3 months
That’s why people are asking for a change in El Tri’s dugout, as most of them don’t think Martino has the capabilities of making the Aztec squad a worthy rival in 2022 FIFA World Cup. FMF is aware of this and they’re already looking for a coach to replace him if he doesn’t manage to beat USMNT in March.
According to reports, Javier Aguirre could be that coach, as he knows what the Mexican players need to thrive, given his experience as El Tri coach on two occasions and his large resumé around the world. But to arrive in El Tri, he’d have to leave CF Monterrey.
After the poor results Aguirre has given as Rayados coach, in Monterrey they’re trying to find a way to end his contract early and they’re offering him a Ferrari as part of his payment if “El Vasco” agrees to end their commitment before the contract ends.
This coach now travels in Uber as he left behind all of his luxuries
