But on recent days, rumors about Zinedine Zidane’s arrival in PSG bench for next season have started to rise, but as if that news weren’t enough, the French coach has said that the only way he’d become PSG coach is if they manage to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.
A couple of seasons ago, the only thought about having Messi and CR7 wearing the same jersey on the pitch felt impossible, but now it’s closer than ever. But Cristiano Ronaldo is not the only player that could join Zidane in Paris for next season, as PSG is also interested in a Mexican player.
According to reports, PSG has showed interest in Ajax defensive midfielder Edson Álvarez, who currently is one of the best Mexicans playing in Europe. PSG would have to pay $23 million to acquire his economic rights, a figure that they’d be able to pay if they want to.
