Mexico National Team has a new generation of players that, if coached right, not only will they be able to finally reach the quarterfinals of a World Cup, but maybe even dream of winning it. Although that will have to wait at least until the next cycle.
Brazil can steal this Mexico National Team player if Martino doesn’t call him soon
It has become more than evident that Gerardo “Tata” Martino won’t call any young players as he believes they don’t have enough experience, but in a couple of years, these youngsters will be ready to wear El Tri colors and impress everyone as they’re all already doing with their clubs.
That’s what’s currently happening with Alejandro Viniegra, who was announced as the new Red Bull Bragantino player, although he is on Manchester Uniter radar, he now joins one of the most powerful soccer groups and could be arriving in Europe in the next few seasons via RB Salzburg or RB Leipzig.
Born in Brazil in 2002, he holds both Mexican and Brazilian citizenships as his mother is Mexican. He starter his career in Cruzeiro’s academy teams but played his first professional season in USL, with North Texas SC before joining RB Bragantino this year. He’s still eligible to play for both Brazil and Mexico, although on recent years he’s been part of El Tri U-20 squad.
The reason why Miguel Herrera won’t arrive in El Tri to replace Martino
