When Funes Mori was subbed, El Tri became more dangerous and was able to come back from behind to score two goals in just a couple of minutes to give the three points to the Mexican side, but with a victory as disappointing as this one, is clear that Martino needs to shake things up in El Tri camp.

Henry Martín is not the option as El Tri’s forward, even though he scored a goal, but given the circumstances, Funes Mori’s performance must discourage Martino to start him again against Costa Rica, and maybe after tonight, this will be his last call with El Tri.

Which are the other two players that underperform against Jamaica?

Monterrey’s left-back Jesús Gallardo left the impression of being unsynchronized with his teammates, something that was demonstrated as soon as Gerardo Arteaga took his place. The third player is Andrés Guardado, who had to be substituted less than ten minutes after the second half started.
