Carlos Acevedo already had his first problem with Guillermo Ochoa in Mexico National Team

The pressure that El Tri currently has, doesn't erase the fact that the presence of Carlos Acevedo in the roster that Gerardo "Tata" Martino called has opened new doors for the Santos Laguna goalkeeper, not only because he can consolidate as the replacement of Guillermo Ochoa once and for all but because he now has the chance of arriving in Europe.

According to several reports, PSV Eindhoven sent scouts to El Tri's camp to follow Alexis Vega, as he is a potential addition for the Dutch team next season, but while doing that, they were surprised by the performance of Carlos Acevedo, who now has the possibility of continuing his career in Eredivisie.

If his transfer ends up being confirmed, he will join Erick Gutierrez and potentially Alexis Vega to continue with the presence of Mexican players in PSV, although given his position, the salary he could receive will be lower than the one of his teammates.

The salary difference between what "Chucky" Lozano earned in PSV and the salary Acevedo could earn

When Hirving "Chucky" Lozano arrives in PSV back in 2019, the contract he signed with the Eredivisie club was for a salary of $1.5 million per season, as he arrived at a younger age and to a position that's usually on the spotlight.

But now, if Acevedo were to follow "Chucky" Lozano's steps, he would have to do it for a salary far less impressive, as reports from Salary Sports suggest that the most he could make per season, at least on the first year, is around $330,000.
