The cities that are aspiring to host the 2026 World Cup matches are Atlanta, Boston, Boston, Cincinnati, Dallas, Denver, Denver, Edmonton, Guadalajara, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Miami, Monterrey, Nashville, New York/New Jersey, Orlando, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver, and Washington DC/Baltimore.

Will there be an opening game at Azteca Stadium?

That is the question most Mexican soccer fans are asking and their doubt makes perfect sense since, as mentioned earlier, soccer is more of a passion in Mexico than in Canada or the United States. 

In fact, Mexican fans have packed the Azteca Stadium for the Mexican national team's matches, so if FIFA wants to have a full stadium for the opening of the World Cup, the best option would be the Azteca Stadium.
