Tatiana and Silvana Flores, Marcelo's sisters, train together with Mexico U-20 Women's team

Silvana and Tatiana Flores are currently training with the Mexican U-20 Women's national team. The sisters of Marcelo Flores have also been tipped to represent El Tri, like their brother.

Who is Tatiana Flores and why did she prefer the Mexico National Team over England?

It should be noted that all three have the option of representing England, Canada, or Mexico. The two women have even trained with the English national team, but it is with Mexico Women national team that the two have made the decision to stay. 

The U-20 team began its first training camp of 2022 at the Mexican Soccer Federation's High-Performance Center (CAR) in preparation for the CONCACAF U-20 Women's Championship to be held from February 25 to March 12, 2022, in the Dominican Republic. 

The team coached by Maribel Domínguez will remain at the CAR until Sunday, February 20. On the evening of that day, the SNM Women's U-20 team will fly to the Dominican Republic, where they will face Honduras, Guyana, and Panama on the group stage. 

For this previous week of work at the CAR, the coach has called up 26 players; 20 of them play in the Liga MX, five in the U.S. Collegiate League, and one in the English League. 

Tatiana Flores

At 16 years old, Tatiana Flores has attracted attention for her constant involvement on the scoreboard, but the most recent was on January 16, 2022, when she scored 4 goals in Chelsea's 7-0 final thrashing of Brighton in the Women's Regional Talent Club U16. 

The player had been consistently called up to the Mexican U-17 Women's national team coached by Ana Galindo but now she has been called up to the U-20s, although she was also working with the England National Team in 2020.

Silvana Flores

Silvana, 19 years old, is the older sister. The player is a Tottenham midfielder who has not been called up on multiple occasions to the Mexican U-20 national team. Silvana is now part of Maribel Domínguez's plans for the Pre-World Cup in her category. 

Silvana has also played for Chelsea, Reading, and Arsenal youth teams. With Tottenham Hotspur, Silvana made her debut on August 8 in the 2021/22 season against her former team, Arsenal.
