Ricardo “Tuca” Ferretti has raised his hand to join Mexico National Team as his next coach if Gerardo “Tata” Martino doesn’t achieve the goal set by Mexican Football Federation of earning at least 7 points in the upcoming FIFA match window.

Ferretti knows what it means to be part of Mexico National Team and is used to dealing with a lot of big names, as he coached Tigres for over 10 years, and now, in his second year as Juárez FC coach, he’s looking for a real project, one in which he can transcend as he was used to.
The only thing he’ll ask in order to arrive in Mexico National Team is letting him take all the decisions, leaving external pressures by Televisa and other sponsors in the past, something that Gerardo Martino hasn’t been able to do.

Ricardo Ferretti knows that Guillermo Ochoa is still Mexico National Team’s goalkeeper because Televisa keeps imposing him, which is why he’ll stop calling him and instead would start Rodolfo Cota, who he has praised before as a talented goalkeeper.
