The first half of the biggest rivalry in CONCACAF ended with a scoreless draw in a game that has been played mostly on the midfield, although the most dangerous plays of the game have been for the Stars and Stripes.

But the Stars and Stripes ended the first half of the match with yet another player painted in yellow, as at 39’, Timothy Weah kicked Raúl Jiménez hard in the middle of the pitch, making him the fourth player with a yellow card.
Even if Mexico National Team has owned the possession of the ball for most of the game, they haven’t been able to arrive to Zack Steffen’s goal with danger, as most of the game has been played in the midfield
So far, Guillermo Ochoa has become the savior of Mexico National Team, as he saved at least two times El Tri’s goal. The first save arrived after 14 minutes, when Yunus Musah shoot from outside the box and Ochoa prevented the ball from going inside on the bottom corner.
The second time that Ochoa proved why he’s considered by Martino as the best goalkeeper in El Tri arrived 10 minutes before the first half ended, as Christian Pulisic shoot right in the goal box but couldn’t give the right direction to the ball, and Ochoa stopped it with his body.
