Javier “Chicharito” Hernández hasn’t played with Mexico National Team since 2019, but he hasn’t lost hope of wearing El Tri colors again before the World Cup, looking forward to being part of the squad that plays in Qatar.
He just signed with FC Barcelona but Martino ignores him
“Chicharito” Hernández currently is one of the most profitable Mexican strikers, as he scored 17 goals last season with LA Galaxy, although it’s also true that he hasn’t played an official match since November, when the Galaxy tied 3-3 against Minnesota United, where he scored two goals.
Martino could use Hernández’s ability to score, something that El Tri has lacked in their last games, especially against USMNT, who will be the most difficult game Mexico National Team face in the upcoming FIFA match window.
Although “Chicharito” has stated his desire of wearing El tri colors again and has even said he’s willing to apologize for his latest scandal, “Tata” Martino asked him to change his lifestyle outside of the pitches, something he hasn’t done even when he played in Real Madrid.
Martino will start two players that are benched on their teams
