Qatar 2022 is getting closer and closer and the Mexican national team continues to deliver news that is not very encouraging for the fans. It turns out that yet another player is leaving the team and will not be in the next World Cup. He got tired of the fact that there is no real competition for the position and only Gerardo Martino's favorites will be there.

With the last call-up, it could be identified that some players are simply not living their best moment, but they will still be called up because they are trusted by Gerardo Martino. The outlook for the next World Cup is certainly worrying for Mexico.

El Tri's play has been very poor in the last year and its players are not really at their best individually, except for Hirving Lozano. That is why players like Javier Hernandez, Carlos Vela, Carlos Salcedo and Jose Corona are stepping aside and want nothing more to do with the Mexican team.

Who is the other player who will not be in Qatar 2022?

It is precisely Miguel Layun. The Club America player spoke on Werevertumorro's YouTube channel and assured that he is no longer thinking about the national team and that coach Gerardo Martino has already made things clear to him.
