It’s no lie to say that Mexico National Team hasn’t played good associative soccer for a while, not only in the current World Cup cycle. Both coaches and players have let down El Tri followers as they seem to forget how to play as soon as they wear El Tri colors.

During his stint with Mexico National Team, he was criticized for the way El Tri played, as they looked unorganized and unfamiliar with their teammates every time they were on the pitch, especially given that he insisted on having a rotation system in which every player had playing time.
After Russia 2018, Juan Carlos Osorio parted ways with Mexico National Team and has coach a few Colombian clubs. But now, given the situation in which Colombia National Team currently is, his name is starting to be linked with La Tricolor.
Rumors suggest that Juan Carlos Osorio broke El Tri restrictions multiple times, as he arrived drunk to training sessions and press conferences, and even was rumored to sneak women into El Tri camp, something he won't be able to do if he becomes Colombia’s next coach. But in order for that to happen, Osorio will ask for $3.5 million per year.
