Yon de Luisa swept away the structure of the Mexican Soccer Federation after the eliminations in the U-20 and women's competitions. Now, total power within the FMF will pass into the hands of another power group led by none other than Alejandro Irragorri.

Torrado has already been fired and De Luisa has already talked about the end of Martino at El Tri

According to W Deportes, Femexfut's board of directors will decide on the new director of national teams thanks to the sponsorship of Grupo Orlegi, with Íñigo Riestra as one of the top options. As Yon de Luisa stated in a press conference, the person in charge will be announced in the next few days.

If such decision is made, not only the Arbitration Commission, but also Femexfut would be controlled by the group led by Alejadro Irragorri. The tycoon is the current owner of Atlas and Santos Laguna, two teams that have been protagonists in Liga MX during the last few seasons.

Would Diego Cocca be the new DT?

If the arrival of Íñigo Riestra to the national team management is finalized, one of the changes that would be handled would be the appointment of a new coach, where Diego Cocca would be among the candidates. It should be remembered that Gerardo Martino was one of the great protégés of the recently dismissed Gerardo Torrado.
