Carlos Vela's new salary, now that he has renewed with LAFC, no longer earns $6 million dollars

Carlos Vela is living an enviable present. The Mexican player is already showing great soccer quality and at the same time, he has an important salary contract. However, he recently negotiated a new contract where he will receive a different amount than the 6 million he had acquired in his first years with the MLS club.

Carlos Vela has received multiple offers throughout the current transfer market. Liga MX clubs tried to negotiate his transfer, however, the player decided to continue after the arrivals of Gareth Bale and Giorgio Chiellini, who add a lot to the California team.

At 33 years of age, Carlos Vela is one of the most outstanding players in the American league. Despite perhaps never returning to the Mexican national team, let alone stepping foot in Liga MX, Vela will enjoy a salary worthy of his great career as a player. According to Sportrac, the Mexican striker will close his renewal with a salary of 4 million dollars. In an interview with ESPN, the Cancun-born athlete assured that he is not thinking about retirement at the moment, but that it is possible that he will stay with the MLS team until that moment arrives.
