Jaime Ordiales is a personality who has been at the center of controversy in recent weeks. It turns out that the new director of national teams in Mexico, has been pointed out as the one responsible for the current failure of Cruz Azul.

According to journalist Javier Alarcón, Jaime Ordiales was in charge of boycotting the signing of certain players such as Jonathan Rodriguez, in order to give Club America an advantage and allow them to sign them.
