Although Gerardo “Tata” Martino managed to earn 7 out of the 9 available points on the past FIFA match window, he still needs to beat USMNT, Honduras and El Salvador on the last CONCACAF Qualifier games that will be held in March in order to guarantee his stay in El Tri’s bench for Qatar 2022.

But Martino refuses to call players that haven’t been part of the roster since he arrived, some of them because he considers that are too inexperienced to play in decisive games and others because he thinks they will be a distraction at El Tri camp.

This time, the latest player who won’t be considered by the Argentinean coach is Alan Mozo, as the Pumas right-back is known for having a short fuse, and he even was involved in a heated discussion with Jaime Lozano when he decided to keep him out of the U-23 roster that won the bronze medal in Tokyo 2020.
