José Rogério on Pumas: I know why they are a top team

José Rogério, in an interview with TUDN, stated that Pumas is a very big team, comparing it to other teams of great stature where he has been, and emphasized that because of this, criticism is not long in coming.

"I already know why it's a very big team, a team that everyone talks about, like in Brazil, where I played in Sao Paulo, which has a huge fan base, Bahia, others, and I'm used to the fact that when you have the ability to show yourself on the field, you're always going to take it out on the fans, criticism is welcome," said the Pumas player.

The Pumas’ fans are one of the most demanding in Mexico, a situation that often leads the public to strongly criticize their team, however, Rogério believes that with hard work these comments can be reduced:

"Some speak criticisms, others support, we have the capacity, then work to improve more so that people and fans can be happy," Rogério pointed out.

What is Rogério's market value?

José Rogério de Olivera Melo, a forward who joined Pumas UNAM for the 2021 Liga MX Apertura, has a current transfer value of 700 thousand euros, according to Transfermarkt. The Brazilian arrived as a free agent after finishing his contract with his former team Esporte Clube Bahia.
