Sports president Jaime Ordiales and coach Juan Reynoso look like they will have to learn to deal with their differences, as it would be the economic term that would prevent the Peruvian tactician from leaving the ranks of Cruz Azul.
Can Luis Suárez arrive at Club América now that he’s a free agent?
It should be noted that the Peruvian would have renewed his contract just when he won the ninth, a year ago, so the term of the same would be agreed until December 2022, so he would have one more tournament left, and if he wanted to leave he could do so, but he knows that he has everything to lose financially, and so does the club since if they wanted to dismiss him they would have to open the wallet.
Much was said during the Clausura 2022 tournament that Reynoso would leave the team at the end of their participation in the current competition, but it has come to light that the Peruvian has no intention of resigning and Los Cementeros are not considering opening their wallet to pay his termination clause.
And because of this detail, the board has contemplated keeping him for the next six months, but obviously, they would not renew him. What is complicated here is to know how worn out is the coexistence between Reynoso and the board, without adding the treatment with the players and those who could also leave if they do not renew with the club in the next few days.
The main reason why Cruz Azul is not thinking of firing him is because his clause is very high, and in order to be able to give him his exit letter it would be valued at approximately 8 million pesos, as reported by WDeportes. That is why the Cementeros have opted to give him continuity and why not think that this money could be used in the transfer window.
Termination clauses are a provision in the employment contract between a player or coach and his sports club. The latter ensures the payment of an indemnity in case he wishes to be hired by another institution or, in Reynoso's case, the contract offered to him is not terminated.
