Tigres seeks to climb to the top against Queretaro, the worst team in Liga Mx?

Tigres and Querétaro will face each other with very different outlooks in match day 6 of the Apertura 2022, as the Tigres squad will try to go for the lead of the standings with a win, while Gallos Blancos will be looking for their first victory to escape the last place in the tournament.

Miguel Herrera's team has four consecutive victories and, with 12 points, is in the fight for the top spots in the standings, alongside Rayados de Monterrey and Toluca.

Unlike last season, Tigres have found stability in the defensive zone that has translated into good results. In fact, since Nahuel Guzmán returned to the field on match day two, they have not allowed a single goal.

Queretaro face an uphill battle

Apart from the massive difference in form the Gallos Blancos have not defeated Tigres since match day 17 of the 2016 Apertura, when they won 2-1 at the Universitario Stadium. Thus, they will face a tough fight in an effort to turn recent history around.
