Marcelo Flores still wants to play for El Tri even after Martino didn’t call him
Martino and El Tri need to win at least two of the three games and tie the other in order to save the Argentinian coach’s position. And according to reports, Mexican Football Federation already has a plan B in case Martino fails: Miguel Herrera.
Herrera might have a second stint with Mexico National Team in the next few weeks, but in order to take the job he’ll have to resign to his position in Tigres. Los Universitarios are aware of this possibility and already started working to replace Herrera.

El Tri won’t have Raúl Jiménez and “Chucky” Lozano on tomorrow’s game against Jamaica
Reports suggest that Matías Almeyda will be arriving in Tigres UANL if Herrera’s move to Mexico National Team happens, as the Argentinian coach has never hidden his love for Mexico and Liga MX, and is not considering renewing with San José Earthquakes, his current team.
