Atletico San Luis is about to make its first million-dollar sale, since according to the Mexican press, it is already known how much Club America will pay for German Berterame.
Germán Berterame and Jhon Murillo give Atlético de San Luis a win over León
The Argentine striker has undoubtedly been the most outstanding element of the Potosino club managed by André Jardine, and his talent could not go unnoticed by Liga MX clubs.
Especially for one specialized in buying the talent of its competitors, as is the case of Club América, which according to versions of the Mexican press, has already prepared the checkbook to take him for next season.
The talent of the 23-year-old player born in Villa María, Argentina has captivated all the clubs in the Clausura 2022 Tournament, as he has been seen scoring goals even for clubs such as Chivas and, of course, the Aguilas del América.
For this reason, the Mexican media claim that the Coapa club has already prepared the checkbook to take him.
According to the information spread by the Mexican press, Club América would pay 6 million dollars to Atlético San Luis, for the Argentine striker's card, who, if he does not leave in the next summer transfer window, will leave the club for free.
This is because Berterame will not renew his contract with San Luis and this forces them to sell him before his contract with the team expires in June 2022.
In this way, Berterame would become the club's first millionaire sale, since from the previous one they made, they only received a proportional part and not the full amount of the sale price.
This is because on that occasion, when Pachuca paid 3.2 million dollars for Nicolás Ibáñez, most of the amount went to the coffers of Atlético de Madrid, and the San Luis team only received 972 thousand dollars.
Germán Berterame is currently the club's second top scorer and won a scoring championship in the Grita México Apertura 2021 tournament. In the 88 games in all competitions he has played with Atlético San Luis, Berterame has scored 29 goals and recorded 5 assists.
He has also provided the club with depth in the attack that allows other players such as Jhon Murillo to break free and score more points for his club.
Not bad for the former San Lorenzo de Almagro player, who since arriving in Mexico has finally been able to develop his full potential.
