A few days ago, Jürgen Damm was informed that he’s no longer part of the plans of Gonzalo Pineda and Atlanta United, which is why, just a few weeks before the 2022 MLS Season starts and after the winter transfer window already closed, he started looking for a new club.

And although it seems hard for him to find a new club outside the MLS at this stage given that he was still under contract with ATL UTD. But the former Mexico international will have the chance to join any club he wants only if he’s a free agent, which, according to reports, it’s now the case.
That’s why Damm’s situation was closely monitored by Club América, who were interested in him given the bad results they’ve had in Clausura 22. But reports suggest that Chivas won the race and are just one sign away from adding the right-winger.
The 29-year-old right-winger joined Atlanta United for the 2020 MLS Season as a free agent, after he decided to not renew his contract with Tigres. Since Arriving with the Five Stripes, Damm was only part of 27 games, in which he scored one goal and assisted on 4 occasions.
