These are the measures that will be taken regarding the tragedy that occurred in Liga MX during the Querétaro vs Atlas match

Due to the tragedy that occurred yesterday in the Queretaro vs Atlas match, Liga MX has already announced the measures it will take since this unfortunate event has hurt the whole country.

Barras from both teams invaded the Querétaro vs Atlas pitch. The President of Liga MX had this to say about the incident

Yesterday afternoon, in the duel between Gallos Blancos and Zorros, there was an unfortunate pitched battle between the barras of both clubs, which left 22 injured, of which 9 were taken to the hospital and 2 of them are in serious condition. 

As a result, Liga MX announced 5 measures that will be taken to address this issue that has upset not only Mexican soccer, but the entire world. 

The 5 measures that Liga MX will take regarding the tragedy that occurred in the Querétaro vs Atlas match

1. The League initiated a thorough investigation into what happened in the stands, on the field, and outside the building during the Querétaro vs. Atlas match corresponding to Day 9 of the LIGA BBVA MX. 

2. LIGA MX immediately reported the incident to the Disciplinary Commission of the Mexican Soccer Federation based on the official reports of the Commissioners and Referees of the match, asking the Commission for exemplary sanctions.

3. Derived from the facts, the corresponding criminal complaints will also be filed for the acts of violence at the Estadio La Corregidora. 

4. Reports from the LIGA MX Commissioner and Querétaro authorities indicate that the injured persons were taken by ambulance to nearby hospitals and an official report on their state of health is awaited. 

5. The Queretaro vs. Atlas match will be rescheduled on a date and time to be confirmed, based on Article 64 of the LIGA BBVA MX Competition Regulations, which states: 

"When the match cannot be resumed within 24 hours, the Clubs will play the remaining time of the match, where and when determined by the Executive Presidency of LIGA MX."

So far, there are no deaths as a result of the tragedy in Liga MX

According to the report provided by the Civil Protection Department of the state of Queretaro, so far there have been no deaths as a result of the fight between sports clubs during the Queretaro vs Atlas match. 

However, there are 2 people who were seriously injured and whose lives are at risk as a result of the fight that took place at the stadium. 

It should be noted that all the injured are male and that apart from the 2 who are seriously injured in the hospital, the rest of the injured are in stable condition.
