One of the biggest teams in all of Mexican soccer is without a doubt the case of Chivas from Guadalajara, a club that is highly supported in Mexico, not to say that it is the most supported of all, since they have fans not only in their country of origin, but many more in the United States of America.

For something it is said that there are more than 40 million fans of that team in Mexico alone, that means a third part that always supports Chivas, for something it is said that they are the most Mexican team of all, in addition to the fact of having a tradition of only having Mexican players.

However, until a couple of months ago, it could be seen how the team broke its tradition by signing a player who plays for the Peruvian National Team as one of its reinforcements, as is the case of the center forward, Santiago Ormeño, who did not last long in the team.

But it seems that they would not only be summarized in the case of Ormeño, but would go much further, since it seems that one of the new objectives of their technical director, the Serbian Veljko Paunovic, could be to sign another reinforcement that it would not necessarily be Mexican, so they would break the tradition.

The one they would sign in Chivas

And that would be the case of the FC Cincinnati forward, Brando Vazquez, who is American by birth but of Mexican parents, for that reason he would become Mexican citizen, however, there is no doubt that his tradition of so many years would be somewhat broken from this unprecedented fact.
