The Clausura 2022 season has not yet concluded, but reports are beginning to emerge about player movements, and one of the most talked-about in the Chivas squad is the fate of goalkeeper Raúl Gudiño, who has confirmed that he is about to leave the red and white team in the coming weeks.
Club América is ready to part ways with Bruno Valdez; he already found a new team
After negotiations between the board of directors and the player's entourage failed to reach an agreement and they decided to terminate their working relationship, the goalkeeper has continued to train normally and to perform when required, as was the case against Toluca when Miguel Jiménez was unable to participate due to a muscle strain.
At the time, Chivas paid 12 million euros for the goalkeeper, who, in his time as a Rojiblanco, has not delivered the performances that the Rebaño expected. The goalkeeper, since his arrival in the 2018/19 season, played 98 games.
According to TUDN reporter Erick López, Raúl Gudiño is on the radar of Pumas to become their new starting goalkeeper in case the feline board fails to convince Alfredo Talavera to extend his contract, and there have already been talks with the Rebaño player.
The goalkeeper did not play in the match against the felines because he suffered a last-minute foot injury, so the coaching staff decided not to risk it and to take him out of the call-up list and give that place to Raúl 'Tala' Rangel. In the end, Chivas advanced after beating Pumas 4-1, the goalkeeper's possible new destination.
