Solari was the first to lose his mind in the pitch of Estadio Cuauhtemoc, after Roger Martinez kicked Maxi Araújo in the middle of the pitch. The referee gave Martinez a yellow card, but Solari run from the other side of the pitch to face the referee.

The referee didn’t flinch and sent him off, but it only helped to spark Martínez’s anger, who was given a second yellow card a couple minutes after, when he kicked another Puebla player, Juan Pablo Segovia.

What neither of them had in consideration was that América didn´t have talented players on the bench, as none of their newest additions were available and they also had five players tested positive for Covid.
