Rodolfo Pizarro's strong words after Monterrey's elimination from the FIFA Club World Cup

Following Monterrey's elimination from the FIFA Club World Cup, Rodolfo Pizarro had some strong words to say about the club's performance in the tournament.

But despite his words, which were an attempt to express his feelings about the elimination from the tournament, the player was lynched on social networks because, according to internet users, he "did not perform well".

Although the team lost by the minimum, the fans did not forgive the club that went to represent Mexico in the FIFA Club World Cup, but Rodolfo Pizarro's statements showed how he and his teammates felt about the result of the game, where they get eliminated by the Al-Ahly. 

What were Rodolfo Pizarro's words about Monterrey's elimination from the FIFA Club World Cup?

In an interview given to the media after the match, Pizarro came clean and said what he thought about the result of the match. His words were:

"A very bad match we played, we are all very disappointed and sad, and nothing, there is nothing left to do but work." 

The Mexican reporter asked the player about what was expected from the team, and especially from him since he arrived as a reinforcement to Monterrey. About this, Pizarro stated:

"Yes, there is nothing left to do but work, turn the page, and fight now for the Liga (MX)." 

According to the rest of the player's statements, the Rayados' loss was due to the wear and tear of the trip since, according to his words, those who arrived after the match did not have time to recover from the trip.

Although the player stated that both he and the team played a bad game, Rayados fans did not forgive him and lynched him on social networks, many saying that the player "did not perform well". 

Other Internet users criticized the player for not running for the crosses sent to him by his teammates. 

Still, others told the player that he was overrated. But he was not the only one who received harsh criticism from users of social networks.

Some Internet users also demanded the immediate resignation of the team's coach, Javier "Vasco" Aguirre, as they pointed out that the Rayados' game was truly ridiculous. 

The main criticism of the player, beyond his performance, was his physical condition, as the player was substituted at the 67th minute of the match, replaced by Costa Rican Joel Campbell.
