He’s widely known for his taste for sports, and with a fortune of $10.7 billion, according to Forbes, he could likely buy any Liga MX club he wants, as he not only owns the LA Rams, but also has invested in other sports, like the NBA’s Denver Nuggets, NHL’s Colorado Avalanche and even a variety of esports.
He’s also known for owning Premier League’s Arsenal, as he holds 90% of the shares from the Gunners, and owns MLS’ Colorado Rapids, meaning that he knows how to handle a soccer club, which is why he might consider expanding his sports empire to Liga MX.
He knows how profitable Liga MX could be, especially if he was to acquire Chivas, one of the most traditional and historically successful Mexican clubs. Amaury Vergara has said that he won’t sell the club, but with the right offer, he might hand El Rebaño to Kroenke.
