After the unfortunate events of Saturday's match between Querétaro and Atlas, Round 9 of Mexican soccer concluded with only 5 of the 9 matches played each round.

The matches played on March 4 were Toluca's win over Necaxa as a visitor and León's win over FC Juárez. Three more matches were concluded on Saturday, despite the violence at La Corregidora Stadium of the Querétaro team.

Monterrey played against América, where the Rayados won 2-1 under the orders of their new coach, Victor Manuel Vucetich. Cruz Azul vs Puebla, where the team coached by Larcamón won 1-3 as visitors and secured first place in the table. The last game played was Chivas de Guadalajara vs Santos, where Michel Leaño's team won 1-0 over the Lagunero team.

The Querétaro vs Atlas match was suspended in the 62nd minute, with the red-and-black team partially winning 0-1. Sunday's matches were suspended. Pumas UNAM vs Mazatlán, Pachuca vs Tigres UANL and Tijuana vs Atlético San Luis were not played.

After 9 rounds and with matches still to be played, this is how the Liga MX general table is going.
