Miguel Layún, América defender, applauded Will Smith's reaction against Chris Rock, whom he slapped after he made fun of the haircut of his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, who suffers from alopecia.

"Take my wife's name out of your fucking mouth," commented the Best Actor Oscar winner for his performance in the film "King Richard," which chronicles the lives of sisters Venus and Serena Williams, prior to hitting Rock.
"If the context of what happened with Will Smith at the Oscars is real... hats off to him for standing up and defending his wife over any protocol of such an event!", Layún wrote on his social networks.
Chris Rock, who is known for his biting humor, was encouraged to launch a joke that perhaps few caught at the time, but not Smith, who went towards him to give him a blow.
"Jada, I love you. 'G.I. Jane 2′. I can't wait to see it," said Rock, in a comment reminiscent of the movie 'G. I. Jane', which starred Demi Moore and in which she had to shave her head to play a military woman.
"Richard Williams was an advocate for his family...I've been called to protect people, to be an advocate for my people; I know that when you have to deal with abuse, you don't have to put up with people talking bad about you," Smith said after winning his Oscar.
