One of the transfers in Liga MX 2022 that has attracted attention is that of Toluca, which has confirmed the arrival of 4 reinforcements for the Clausura 2022.

The confirmed reinforcements are Carlos Guzman, Leo Fernandez, Daniel Alvarez, and Jordan Sierra.

The team informed of the arrival of its reinforcements through social networks and surprised its followers, as there was a lot of secrecy regarding the possible reinforcements that coach Ignacio Ambriz was going to ask for his team.

Among all the reinforcements, the one that most excited Toluca's followers was Leo Fernandez, the Uruguayan attacking midfielder who was a relevant element in the Diablos' attack.

Leo Fernandez

In his previous stay with the Escarlatas, the player scored eight goals in ten games, so his return has made the fans of the third-winningest team in Liga MX tremble.

With a tweet that read "The prodigal son is back! Welcome back to hell Leo!", the player's return to the club was announced, and he was welcomed at the Nemesio Diez stadium.

Toluca's other reinforcements also excited the club's fans and their recruitment announcements went viral on social networks.

Carlos Guzman

Carlos Guzman, another of the reinforcements was also announced in style on the team's social networks. Guzman is none other than one of the champions of the Mexican U-17 national team, from the 2011 generation.

The player was brought in to reinforce the right side of the team and arrived from Atlético Morelia of the Liga de Expansión MX

It is worth mentioning that the fullback was one of the best players last season for the Michoacán team, which is why the scarlet team's board of directors had already paid attention to him.

Jordan Sierra

Everything seems to indicate that Toluca's new coach, Ignacio Ambriz, is going all out for this tournament. That is why it is understood that another of his signings for the Liga MX Clausura 2022 was Jordan Sierra.

The 24-year-old midfielder arrives from Tigres, a team where he did not perform as expected and therefore left in this transfer market.

The Ecuadorian is looking to return to the great form he had with Gallos Blancos de Querétaro when he was coached by Victor Manuel Vucetich, where he started 30 games and scored 4 goals. Not bad for a midfielder.

Daniel Alvarez

A player with a long career in Mexican soccer and who has performed well in all the clubs he has played for, although he did not shine so much in the Apertura 2021

The Mexican soccer player has an extensive career in Liga MX, wearing the shirt of teams such as Atlas, Necaxa and Puebla; playing a total of 196 games (20 goals) between Liga MX, Copa Libertadores, Copa MX, and Supercopa MX.

With these reinforcements, Ignacio Ambriz seeks to relaunch his career after being dismissed from Huesca, a team in the second division of Spanish soccer.

Ambriz left Huesca, in what was his first experience as a coach in Europe, with eleven games under his management, in which he had four wins, three ties, and five defeats, in addition to 14 goals scored and 10 conceded.
