Liga MX 2022 had to postpone the game Chivas vs FC Juárez due to a powerful reason, but so far they have not been informed when this duel would take place.
Carlos Fierro returns to Liga MX 2022 and will do so for this reason
The news was confirmed today by Liga MX itself, which through its social networks released a statement to explain the reason for rescheduling the match.
According to the information provided by Liga MX, the snowfall and the low temperatures that occurred during these days and that will continue this weekend, could endanger the health not only of the players but also of the public in attendance.
The press release provides further details:
"The above, due to the snowfall and low temperatures presented since this Thursday and forecast for the weekend in Ciudad Juarez, and that the priority is to take care of the health and integrity of players, fans, and Clubs.
Taking into account, in addition, the Weather Alert issued by Civil Protection of the State of Chihuahua from Thursday through Saturday, February 5, requesting all residents to take precautions in the presence of Cold Front No. 28.
LIGA BBVA MX appreciates the understanding, willingness, and support of Clubs FC Juarez and Guadalajara for the rescheduling of the match."
Although Liga MX informed that the match will be rescheduled, there is still no confirmed date and time for this duel to take place.
It should be remembered that this match was to be the opportunity for Michel Leaño's squad to get back to winning ways, after being defeated by Pachuca by a score of 2-1.
And after barely tying Querétaro with a 1-1 score, thanks to Alexis Vega, an outstanding player who also saved the Mexican national soccer team from losing to Jamaica.
On the other hand, it was to be the opportunity for Carlos Fierro, a former Chivas player, to make his debut with the Bravos de Juárez under the orders of Ricardo "Tuca" Ferretti, a team he has just joined after his stay in the MLS.
The game would be an interesting opportunity for the Bravos to prove that their most recent Liga MX wins over Necaxa in Round 1 and Atletico San Luis in Round 3 were not just a fluke.
Above all, it was the perfect opportunity for Carlos Fierro to show Chivas that his best days are not in the past, especially for a player who once won an Under 17 World Cup.
Former Chivas leader gave this strong message to Alexis Vega about José Juan Macías
