How old is Funes Mori?

The Argentinean, now a naturalized Mexican citizen, is 31 years old. Funes Mori had a contract until June 30, 2022, however, Rayados offered him a new agreement to stay with the team until the summer of 2024.

It should be noted that this is not a renewal of the contract signed by the attacker, but a new contract, as it includes new clauses, figures and prizes.

Short history in Europe

In August 2013, after being removed from the River Plate squad by coach Ramón Díaz, Rogelio would begin a new adventure in Europe, specifically in Benfica, a team with which he only got to play five games in the 2013-14 season, before leaving for Eskişehirspor in Turkey.

He disappeared for a while from the international headlines, but Rogelio did not fare so badly in the Turkish team. During the 2014-15 campaign he played up to 36 matches, in which he scored a total of fourteen goals, between the Turkish Super League and the Turkish Cup.
