The Peruvian coach arrived at the Mexican soccer club on January 2, 2021, after the resignation of Robert Dante Siboldi, and immediately the team saw how things improved almost immediately.

Reynoso not only improved the team's performance but also led it to the overall leadership of that tournament, with 41 points and a 14-game unbeaten streak.

And when it was thought that the coach could do no more for the team, he took them to the Liguilla and, in the end, made them champions of the Liga MX, defeating Santos Laguna in the final of the Clausura 2021.

This would put an end to the "curse" of 23 years that the Cementero team had gone 23 years without winning the national title, and the team once again earned the respect of the other teams that always made fun of them for the number of years without titles.

The communiqué states that the club is ending its relationship with Juán Reynoso and that the institution is grateful for the coach's achievements, and affirms that the Ninth is and will be one of the greatest chapters the club has ever lived. And now.

The farewell that the team gave the coach definitely did not leave the fans happy, who immediately began to demand a tribute to the coach, or at least a video with his achievements. 

But so far, the team's board has not commented on the details of the coach's departure, one to whom they claim to owe a lot, but it is not made clear in the acts.
