The first European adventure of Mexican José Juan Macías with Getafe came to an end. According to reports, this Friday, the Spanish club and Chivas signed an agreement to terminate in advance the loan with option to buy that had been in progress until the end of the season.
Irraragori is not done, he already has Santos Laguna and Atlas but now is after another team
The agreement offered by Getafe was to pay the full loan to Guadalajara as compensation for not keeping Macías for the agreed period of time, a fact that was accepted by the board of directors of the Rebaño Sagrado.
Macías will not finish the season in the Spanish league and has little time to try to find a place in a European team, which seems unlikely. The other offer being analyzed by both the club and the player is from MLS, specifically from Sporting Kansas City, who are looking for a striker to replace Alan Pulido, who will not be able to play this season due to a knee injury from which he underwent surgery.
The registration deadline in Liga MX is next Monday and another of the options being considered by the Guadalajara team is to register José Juan to join the club for the 2022 Clausura and strengthen the center forward position in which they currently have Ángel Zaldívar and Ronaldo Cisneros.
Macías intends to run out all his chances but returning to Mexico is an alternative that does not displease the player as he still intends to fill the eye of Gerardo Martino's coaching staff to return to the Aztec National Team and fight for a place in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
22-year-old José Juan Macías played just 8 games with Getafe in Spain, 7 of them in the league and one in the Copa del Rey. He played 221 minutes and was unable to score. He will remember the minutes he played against Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid when he was still coached by Michel González.
After Chivas announced an alliance with PSV, could they finally sign a non-Mexican player?
