Monterrey fans stopped several players to demand that they reverse the situation in light of the team's poor performance.
Rodolfo Pizarro, Esteban Andrada, Jesús Gallardo, Maxi Meza, among others, stopped their cars under siege by a dozen fans, who wanted to talk to them.
These players responded to the fans' complaints, including Meza, who was one of the first to respond: "It's fine to be demanding, but there is a limit". Others like Pizarro defended himself from the criticism of a fan who intercepted him.
"Don't come here to say that I'm just here to dance," Pizarro replied to the fan, who told the striker that the club has given him a second chance.
"Brother, it's good that you stood up, people want to talk to you, you left and nothing was done that you expected and the club is giving you a second chance, it's only been dances," said the fan to Pizarro, who listened attentively inside his vehicle.
"I came back because I wanted to be here, otherwise I wouldn't have come back, are you going to judge me for three matches? Going out against Cruz Azul, I was the best, according to the fans," Pizarro said.
While the player and the fan were talking, another fan had placed two eggs on the hood of Pizarro's truck; the interlocutor immediately asked him to remove them, as the Rayados striker had stopped to talk.
Despite being intercepted, Rogelio Funes Mori did not want to talk. The people told him to speak on the field and, annoyed at not even having rolled down the window of his truck, commented that "not even if you score five goals will people love you".
The Rayados are having a start to the tournament that is not at all pleasing to their fans. In the Clausura 2022, the team has played four matches (with two pending) and has 5 points. After losing 1-0 at Puebla, Monterrey will host San Luis on matchday 7 next Saturday.
