Eugenio Pizzuto could be Chivas' last-minute signing for Liga MX 2022

Eugenio Pizzuto, who was recently dismissed by French club Lille, could be the last-minute signing Chivas need to get back on the winning track in Liga MX 2022. 

Pizzuto received the bad news today that his club, Lille had decided to terminate his contract before the player made his first-team debut since, in the club's eyes, the 19-year-old did not end up developing as they had hoped. 

However, sports commentators and analysts have accused the French club of being impatient as injuries have prevented him from showing his quality on the pitch.

Pizzuto had a contract with LOSC Lille until 2025 and was a bet on the future of the French team, but the French club stopped believing in the young Mexican and terminated his contract. 

The issue of injuries has weighed on the player since he was going to make his debut in Liga MX 2020 when a fractured tibia and fibula prevented him from doing so. 

After this incident, the Mexican midfielder emigrated to Europe, and today, sports specialists point out that he could be an option for Chivas to complete its reinforcement. 

Sports analysts and Rebaño Sagrado fans agree: Chivas should sign him

On social networks, voices were heard and many agreed that Pizzuto could be Chivas' last-minute signing for Liga MX 2022, due to his age and potential, which he showed at the U17 World Cup in 2019.

In this tournament, Pizzuto was not only the captain of the team, but he was also one of the driving forces behind El Tri's runner-up finish in the tournament, which was won by Brazil. 

It was in that tournament that Lille noticed him and was ready to sign him to develop him and make his debut in their first team. 

Pizzuto's salary, another factor that would suit Chivas

This is another factor why the player could undoubtedly be a great addition to the Rebaño Sagrado. The salary of the former Lille player has been disclosed and Chivas could make the effort for him. 

According to data from TV Azteca, the player earned 1.2 million dollars at Lille, a figure that probably scares many Liga MX teams. 

It is worth remembering that not long ago Club Deportivo Guadalajara had Oribe Peralta in its ranks and he was paid 1.5 million dollars. This is although his results with the Guadalajara team were very poor. 

However, it is worth remembering that Chivas is one of the richest teams in the tournament.
